Fabulous version of All Right Now – Filmed at the Isle of Wight Festival on Sunday August 30th 1970 – Free, here at their zenith played to in excess of 0.6 Million people! This song was released in the summer of 1970 and is the final track on the album ‘Fire and Water’. According to drummer Simon Kirke “All Right Now” was written by Andy Fraser in the Durham Student’s Union building. However Paul Rodgers has stated he penned the original lyrics for the song. On that day, Free also performed “Ride on Pony”, “Woman”, “The Stealer”, “Be My Friend”, “Mr Big”, “Fire and Water”, “I’m a Mover”, “The Hunter” and concluded with one cover, a rendition of Robert Johnson’s legendary “Crossroads”.

A brief history of Ant Farms

A brief history of Ant Farms:
Invented by California entrepreneur Milton Levine (also known as Uncle Milton) in 1956. The transparent, sand-filled Ant Farm allowed you to observe the inscrutable doings of a colony of harvester ants.
Originally it could be yours for only .98 and during the next two decades, Levine would sell over twelve million of them.

Today, more than 20 million Ant Farms and Ant Habitats have been sold around the world. The product has become a treasured part of American culture, having been recognized as one of the Top 100 Toys of the Century by the Toy Industry Association as well as garnering considerable media attention throughout the years. New space age ant habitats and innovations such as the

AntWorks Illuminated Ant Habitat keep the idea of ants for pets fresh in the minds of kids and adults alike.

Antfarms® and Formicariums can make excellent science projects and are great for educational toys for your youngsters to learn with. Read below for interesting facts about ants and their behavior. We have numerous insect videos and documentaries about ants that may help you to understand them better.

Care and Feeding:
If you have a gel based Formicarium you will not need food or water as the gel supplies that. Ants will appreciate a drop of honey, sugar, or bread dipped in sugar water, and tiny bits of fruit or vegetables. Very, very small amounts will do; you don’t want the food going moldy in the bottle. Ants get water mainly from their food; however, every couple of days you can add a cotton ball soaked in water to supplement the supply Be careful not to knock the bottle over or shake it up; this will destroy the ants tunnels.

Unless you have dug up or order a queen ant yourself, you will need to replenish your ants from time to time as ants only have a life expectancy of 45-60 days. It is illegal to sell /export a queen ant in the United States and a few other countries because one doesn’t want to import or export a queen to a non-native region where indeed the species can run rampant or cause ecological damage.

How to make your own Formicarium or Ant Farm:
1. Place the smaller glass container that you have chosen inside the larger container. The purpose of the smaller container is purely to take up space and to encourage the ants to build their tunnels against the outside glass for easy viewing.

2. Locate an ant colony in your yard and dig carefully in the area where you see the most ants. Transfer some soft soil, with the ants, into a bucket. Try to find some larger ants or a queen ant with wings, along with eggs and larvae.

3. Using a paper cone or funnel, gently add soil and the smaller worker ants to the space between the two containers. Add the queen, eggs and larvae last, sliding them gently down the funnel to rest on the soil. The worker ants will quickly begin to relocate their queen and her offspring in their new home.

4. CAUTION: Some ants bite, so keep your child away from exposure to the ants while you work. Ants will climb even glass walls, so you’ll need to securely cap your container. Punch air holes in the lid of the larger container, but make the hole openings too small to allow ants to escape.

5. Once you have the ants in place, put the lid on the container. Make a paper sleeve, covering the container from the bottom to the top of the soil. This darkens the habitat and recreates an underground environment. Your ants will begin working immediately.

For or Against Wind farms?

These will generate enough power to supply the average electricity needs of 8,500 homes in the local area. This wind farm is not situated out to sea but in the picturesque hills of the Saddleworth Moors and would be visible for miles around. Government targets state that 10% of the UK’s energy should be supplied by renewable resources by 2010 and developments like the Saddleworth Moor turbines would contribute towards that total. Leading environmentalists from across the country have previously convened in Saddleworth for the first ever National Forum opposing the creation of wind farms on rural beauty spots.

World renowned TV botanist, Professor David Bellamy, joined former Downing Street press secretary, Sir Bernard Ingham and hundreds of activists at the National Wind Farm Group Conference. There were a total of representatives from over 50 environmental groups from across the country attending this event. It aimed to raise awareness about the perceived dangers of wind farms and bring environmental groups closer together in their fight against the government.

The Saddleworth Moors Action Group says the turbines would have a negative impact on a unique landscape. The group also insist their campaign is not prompted by “not in my backyard” sentiments, but through a genuine desire to preserve the character of the local area.

One could argue that the government is not bothered about the environment then they are continually financing the construction of coal fired power stations in the third world and building more airports and more motorways in Britain?
Are wind farms a concerted effort to save the environment or just another commercial money making scheme for the companies involved?

World of Warcraft Gold – Great Gold Farming Tips For WoW

Getting more gold is always one of the things any World of Warcraft player is trying to achieve, and it can be especially tough to accomplish when you are new to the game and don’t quite know where to start farming for gold. Unfortunately, you really do need to learn how to farm gold fairly quickly because that money is going to be needed so you can continue to level as well. You need plenty of gold to buy equipment and other items. So here’s a brief overview of some of the different ways that you can earn gold in WoW. I hope these gold farming tips will help you out.

The easiest way to get gold is to have the correct profession. The gathering professions such as mining, herbalism and skinning will make you money quickly. Even at the lower levels, you can gather up items and sell them at the auction houses. If you have skinning as your profession, you can skin a dead animal and make leather to sell. A mining profession will allow you to gather copper and iron ores. These can be made into to bars to sell to the blacksmiths at the auction houses. The herbalism profession will allow you to gather various herbs that can be sold at the auction houses also. So as you can see, it is not that difficult to make gold in World of Warcraft, but it can be time consuming.

Fishing is a good skill to have to make money also. Certain types of fish are in high demand and can be sold in the auction house for a decent amount of gold. The great thing is that you can have more than one profession. So fishing can be a secondary profession in addition to mining.

You can also earn gold by finishing the quests. Try to do as many quests as possible to earn as much as you can. It is a good idea to have more than one character. You can transfer important items back and forth between characters and you can also carry more items with more than one character. The second character is usually referred to as an “alt” and sometimes it makes sense just to have your alt hang out by the auction house so as soon as you get something really valuable during a quest, you can immediately transfer it back to your Alt and then have it sold in the Auction House.

Here is another important gold farming tip, though you might not guess that it would be. Be nice to people that you do business with. Remember, as in the real world, you are in competition with other people in the game that are selling the same thing you are. If you have a reputation for being easy to deal with, you can make more money from repeat customers.

Be an expert on what you are selling. If one item has a lot more uses than another item, then the item that has more uses is probably going to sell a lot better. Also be aware of the markets. Learn what the item goes for on the average to keep yourself from getting taken.

Hopefully these WoW gold farming tips will give you a good head-start. But there’s a lot more to learn and a good gold guide will prove invaluable to your quest. You will find that gold helps you level fast as well as getting you all of the goodies you want just for fun.

“So your team doesn’t own Wintersgrasp and you need eternal earths to make some gold or craft an item… well no worries! I know just the place!

The square area of Zim’Rhuk you’ll see in the video is surround by 76-77 elite Gaurdians of Zim’Rhuk, which happen to have a similiar drop rate to the revenants in wintersgrasp.

They drop as many as 3-4 crystallized earths each.

You simply run around the square (does that make sense?) following its edges and looking for the mobnames.

I was getting as many as 12 crystallized earths per two minutes and I’m prot. I can’t imagine how fast a real dps could do this. Simply kill one mob, mount up, then fly to the next. An added bonus is that they should be respawning by the time you kill them all.”

As a warning these mobs are immune to shadow damage, so shadow priests and warlocks will not be able to effectively farm this location. They are elites so you will want to be wearing atleast some epics to down these guys. When they are almost dead they will sometimes hex you, which can be dangerous if you aren’t prepared for it. Good luck farming!

So you found a great farming spot from this article, but want to learn the best way to sell these earths? I’d suggest heading over to Just My Two Copper and seeing for yourself

Farming Frostweave Cloth

Markco here! I’ve found a great spot for farming tons of frostweave cloth and the best part is that the mob types + location are ideal for tank aoe farming.

[Update] Mobs have a mortal strike debuff and are immune to snares… but not stuns. They can also be pulled one at a time if you ranged attack instead of body pulling. This makes for easy kills in rapid succession.

The area known as the Conflagration (shown in video below) is the best spot I’ve found for grinding frostweave cloth. These mobs have a mortal strike debuff but other than that they deal very little damage and only melee. In the northern section of the Conflagration and off to the east mobs spawn as neutral but once they run down to the southern section they become red. These ‘converted heroes’ then stand in groups of seven or eight in front of flag bearers, brilliantly positioned for aoe farming. The mortal strike debuff would be dangerous if these mobs hit hard but they don’t so any decently geared tank should have no problem downing these mobs. I am pretty sure that these mobs also only melee casters, but I have not tested that so anyone who fights them at range please let me know if they have any sort of interrupt or throwing ability.

If you are unable to aoe groups of mobs then your best bet is to head northeast and kill the yellow not yet converted heroes that wander around before running down to the southern part of the Conflagration. As a miner or herbalist you should try flying around the outter edge of this area for several max level nodes.
